Springs gently flow from the crest of Horsetooth Rock Trail.   Here the trails wind through foothills lined with beautiful ponderosa pine and rocky mountain juniper.  Cactus grows sparcely among colorful igneous and metamorphic rock creating a dramatic, rugged and wild landscape.
